Beginner's Tool Kit

Sandy Paluzzi
The Bead Peddler®

There are a zillion beading tools out there.  You only need a few of them to get started beading.  If you want to make earrings, bracelets and necklaces you will need:  round nose pliers (for forming loops on your earrings), wire cutters (to cut headpins/eyepins to size) and crimp pliers (to secure your crimp beads in place).

Those three tools are all you need to get started. There are two other tools I use daily: a pair of flat nose pliers (to help close loops on earrings) and tweezers (to help push the tail through the ending beads). I always like a specialized pair of thread nippers, but scissors will do.
