Taking Kinks out of Leather

Sandra J Paluzzi
The Bead Peddler
®

Leather strips frequently come in a coil.  The coil can develop a memory problem or kinks.  To straighten the leather, mist it with warm water and hang it up to dry.  Put a weight, such as a bead stopper on the dangling end to get the leather to hang straight while it is drying.
