Headpin Loops

Sandra J. Paluzzi

My best friend taught me how to make loops on headpins.  My first loops were inconsistent.  Not a problem, she said.  We put a scratch in my round nose pliers to tell me where to start my loops.  They consistently come out the same size.  Some people prefer not to leave a permanent mark on their pliers as they want different sized loops for different projects.  A fine point magic marker will set their place on the pliers.  When the job is finished, the mark will come off the pliers.

Having trouble getting your loops completely closed with a professional look.  Your crimping pliers can come to the rescue here as you crimp the two ends of the loop together.
