There are all kinds of businesses out there just meant to pamper women.  Manicurists, hair stylists, pedicurists, make up artists and fashion consultants abound.  Along with millions of other women, I have been pampered, waxed, massaged, made up, and have had my colors done.   As a jeweler, you can cash in on woman's desire to appear beautiful.

Partner a hair stylist for a weekend and allow women to buy a new pair of earrings to go with their new haircut.  Since a hair stylist requires a lot of electrical equipment, you're probably better off to have your 'make over day' at a salon.  But if you choose to partner a color expert, a fashion stylist or a make up artist, you can hold your makeover day at any location whatsoever.  It can be a house party with friends invited or it can be held in a local boutique with store customers as 'guests'.  Where ever you have your makeover day, it is best to have it during the day or early evening.  That way, women can make plans to go out after getting beautified.

If you're really ambitious, you can throw together a complete spa day at a rented hall.  Gather all kinds of beauty experts.  Offer facials, make up, hair styling, manis and pedis, color readings and dress style tips. Your jewelry will be the perfect icing on the cake.  You can charge women a token admission and charge individually for each service the woman uses.  Or you can charge a high entrance fee just like at a spa and split the door money among the vendors.  This type of spa day also makes a great charity fundraiser.  Give a percentage of the sales to your chosen charity and you will have made money both for yourself and for a worthy charity.
