Dagger Beads

By Sandy Paluzzi
   The Bead Peddler

This design by JulieJewelry is very elegant, reminding me of the flapper era.
Marilyn 1545 uses daggers to draw the eye down to the next layer of this 3 strand necklace.
In this necklace, the daggers add a touch of color and an extra flair. Design by Alee Raye
Galla15 created a dramatic piece with all the bronze colored peacock beads.
This design by Dora Art Design Studio has a lot of substance and would be great with denim as well as with business clothes.
Here we see another style enhanced by dagger beads. This piece has a decidedly Victorian feel. Design by JSWMetalWorks
KathrynBowmanStudio creates flowers out of her dagger beads in this dramatic, eye catching piece.
Here, daggers go goth. Design by JLE Jewelry
Designs By Alladania has put a lot of work and thought into this necklace. I love the way the seed beads cover the top of the daggers.
This necklace was just made for the mermaid in us all. It would be equally at home on the beach or at a gala or club. Design by KillerJewels
Bead 4 Me has this beautiful kit available with many colored beads. The daggers form a scalloped pattern.
Here we have a tribal necklace fit for a queen. I can even see Cleopatra wearing this design by Five Little Gems
Galateas Jewelry uses cross shaped daggers to fashion a piece that's very current.
This necklace reminds me of a Carribean Island. It's Avant-Garde style would perk up any outfit. Design by The High Bead
Designed By Lynricia, this necklace marries rhyolite with green daggers to create a stunning center focal point.
Here, the daggers are front and center. The neutral colors make this a go with anything piece. LeCollier
IsleOfViewDesign gves us a very sweet necklace. The color combination of green and purple is one of my favorites.
Wear a fringe of daggers around your wrist for a playful look. Design by Random Creative
Annies Beadwork uses daggers to add fringe and movement to a well structured bracelet.
Bracelet by Dragon Hollow Jewelry is an interpreation of a pattern Monica Han. Again, it has an Art Deco look to it.
TimberGirl used a beuatiful floral clasp to add extra interest to a stunning dagger bead bracelet.
This bracelet by DesignsByDestinyWA has a little bit of everything thrown in it. The daggers add dimension.
This piece looks like it belongs in a high style boutique - or on your wrist. Design by BellaLunaDesign
Wearable Art Emporium sells this crochet pattern. I love the way the dagger beads are stationed around the bracelet (or necklace).
This bracelet also has stations - this time the daggers alternate with lampwork beads. Design by Barb Vegter
Folk N Fauna creates a waterfall pair of earrings. The colors in the dagger beads emphasize the effect.
These chandelier earrings are steam punk at its best. Design by Skuggsida
Belenen uses the length of the daggers combined with the length of the chain to create a pair of earrings that seem to go on forever.
Yet, another look created with dagger beads. Val B Designs calls these fish net earrings and I think the name is apt.
Kats Jewelry Box creates a pair of retro earrings that would have worked on Jackie O - or June Cleaver.
OneWomanArt hangs her dagger beads inside a circle of beadwoven seeds.
It never fails to amaze me how many different looks the artists create from one style of bead. This design by Patti Macs is definitely Native American.
For some reason, this earrings by PJ Lacasse remind me of Florida. But they can be worn anywhere.
This geometric pair of earrings are quite substantial. The color of the beads is great with the color of the metal. Design by Opulent Oddities
Ellad2 sells the tutorial for these dangly daggers. Tuts are great as you can interpret them in your own color choice.
I love the symmetry and movement in these earrings by Baloos
A deceptively simple design by Drea Bunny leads to a timeless pair of earrings.
