Triangular Beads

By Sandy Paluzzi

A triangle is a strong shape.  It is well suited to be the centerpiece of a necklace.  Baily Belle Creations emphasises the strength of her copper triangle by dangling  a single interesting bead in its center.
If one triangle is strong, 5 are even stronger.  Coco's Jewelry uses graduated aventurine triangles to fashion a modern design which works well with today's lower necklines.
La MéChAnTe SoRcièRe translates to the Wicked Witch.  This necklace looks more suited to a good witch.  Whoever wears it will LOOK good in it

This necklace by Mednis Enterprises presents a very earthy feel.  I love the way she has worked the seed beads in differing patterns to form the chains for the triangle.
WOW!  This necklace made me look twice.  The variety of shapes and components all come together beautifully.  I was particularly struck by the seed beads forming a triangle down to the heart drop.  Design by Julz Jewelz by JC
The soft triangles beaded down the sides of this necklace are a perfect compliment to the focal stone Fleur De Irk has bezel set.
Wired About Beads uses triangles as accents in this necklace and earring set.  Note the triangle anchoring the half moon pendant.
Triangles are not confined to centerpieces.  Here they dance around the neck. Doreen Bates Art has created the beads as well as the necklace.
The triangles hold their own in this 36 inch classic jasper necklace by Style Kittie.  The necklace can be worn long or doubled as shown in the picture.
Which watch designs uses drilled triangles to join the two strands of this interchangeable watch band.  Switching the direction of the triangles adds interest to the design.
This bracelet by Design Studio 504 also plays on the strength of the triangular shape.  Here the insertion of red cubes adds drama to the design.
While the triangle is strong, it can also be soft and feminine as shown in this rose quartz bracelet.  Design by Objective Jewelry
The dramatic beads in this bracelet by LD Jewelry Designs are showcased by a classic design.
Art Deco is one of my favorite jewelry styles.  These deceptively simple earrings by Sugar Lilac capture the period beautifully.
I like it when the beads themselves are used to form the shape.  Here red rondelles provide the triangle's base on a pair of swingy earrings byKari Twigg Designs.
One can never have too many denim friendly earrings.  This pair, created by Mary Newton, would be equally at home with jeans or one of the new flirty long dresses.
This pair of earrings by Sweet Water Dreams remind me of the American South West.  The artist has cleverly echoed the triangular base by stringing beads in a triangular pattern.
