One Unrelieved Color
By Sandy
Paluzzi Normally I like variety in the beads in my jewelry. Using only one unrelieved color can be quite boring. But there are exceptions. Think of the classic knotted white pearl single strand necklace. Classic elegance is only one of many different images that can be achieved through a monotone look. I tend to use different shapes of the bead in my designs, but there are exceptions. One of those exceptions is shown below. A big advantage to using only one stone in a design is price point. Depending on the bead you choose, this design can be relatively inexpensive to make. While I certainly wouldn't recommend a whole table full of monotone jewelry, a few pieces here and there can add variety and lower price points to your line.
